1. Registration Fees

The above registration fees include:

• The entrance fee for all meetings and events on the programme (unless otherwise specified), processing of registrations and registration materials, official documentation, and coffee breaks, lunches, Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner from 9-13 November (in the designated Alliance conference break and lunch areas only).

• Your fee does not include accommodation, transport or other incidental costs.

• An administrative fee of 50 euros will be charged for excessive changes you make to individual reservations, such as multiple substitution of delegates or corrections of data on registration forms.

Please note that the Alliance does not provide grants for travel and/or accommodation costs.

 

2. Payment Methods:

Registration fees are payable in one of the three options below.

  1. By credit card online: you will be re-directed to a secure credit card payment server which is connected to our credit card company, not to the conference website. You will receive a pro-forma invoice by email and your registration confirmation will be sent to you once the credit card company informs us of your payment.
  2. By bank transfer: An invoice will be emailed to you.
  3. By credit card to the Alliance: with this option, you will need to provide your credit card details to the International Co-operative Alliance who will charge your credit card account and send you an invoice once payment is received.

PLEASE NOTE: for security reasons, cash payments on site will not be possible.

3. Accompanying Persons

Accompanying persons are spouses and partners accompanying a registrant (Member or Non-Member). They are only entitled to attend the Welcome Reception (10 November 2015) and Gala Dinner (12 November 2015). Should they wish to attend any business sessions, they will need to register and pay the full required fee as a delegate.

4. Media & Press

We welcome members of the Media & Press. Members of the Media & Press are invited to attend the Conference free of charge. To apply for the media discount code and Media Accreditation, please email Jan Schiettecatte, Director of Communications, Alliance: schiettecatte@ica.coop.

5. Validation of Registration(s)

Registrations will only be validated and confirmed once the full payment has been received.

6. Group Registrations

Group registration will not be available online.

Groups should contact the conference secretariat at register@ica.coop, who will send you an excel file to be completed with all the details of your group. Payments for the entire group must be made in one full payment and you will receive one invoice for the entire group registrations.

The Alliance will not be able to provide separate invoices for each member of your group. If this is required, then the individuals should register separately online.

7. Cancellations:

  • Individual cancellations
    • up to 1 September 2015, no cancellation fees.
    • up to 1 October 2015, an administration fee of 75 Euros is due.
    • After 1 October 2015, full payment is due and no refunds will be issued.
  • Group cancellations:
    • Reimbursements will not be possible for group reservations. However, substitutions will be permitted & possible.

8. Discounts

8.1 Conference discounts

The Alliance organises a Global conference to encourage and to welcome individuals from all countries to attend this major global “Co-operative event” and may under certain strict conditions be prepared to provide a discount to individuals with limited financial resources.

To apply for a discount, you must fill out the discount request form (click here to download) and provide a cover letter explaining your need and motivation to attend the conference and why you should benefit from a financial rebate. If accepted, you will receive a personal discount code, and will need to then make your registration online, enter your discount code, and then proceed with your payment. The discount request form must be submitted by 31 August 2015. For more information, contact Ms Antonina Guarrella at guarrella@ica.coop.

8.2 Star Alliance discounts


The Star Alliance member airlines are pleased to be appointed as the Official Airline Network for Towards 2020, the International Co-operative Alliance's global conference of 2015.

  • Registered participants plus one accompanying person travelling to the event can qualify for a discount of up to 20%, depending on fare and class of travel booked.
  • The participating airlines for this event are: ANA, Adria Airways, Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China,Air India, Air New Zealand, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines,Croatia Airlines, EVA Airways, Egypt Air, Ethiopian Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS,Scandinavian Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, TAP Portugal,THAI, Turkish Airlines, United.
  • Discounts are offered on most published business and economy class fares, excluding website/internet fares, senior and youth fares, group fares and Round the World fares.
  • When making your travel plans please present confirmation of your registration or proof of attendance for the Event/Convention.
  • Special procedures to be followed for travel to/from Japan. Discounts may be offered by the participating airlines on their own network. To obtain these discounts please contact the respective carriers’ booking office. Instruction for Purchasing Tickets via Travel Agents:

Please note that only tickets purchased via the Convention Plus online booking tool will be considered for the Organiser Support Value allocation. If you prefer to book your travel with a travel agent, provide the following access codes (in addition to the Event Code) for issuance of the tickets:

The Event Code TK51S15 must be inserted in the ticket tour code box. 


9. Visa letter requests

Please check with the competent local Turkish authorities in your country whether you need a visa to travel to Antalya. If you need to obtain a “visa letter” confirming your conference registration, we can provide such a confirmation letter of your booking once you have (1) registered for the conference and (2) once the Alliance has received your payment in full. Please ensure that a visa letter request form is completed “for each delegate”. The form can be downloaded from the “Visas” section on the event website. If you need visa support, please contact Ms Antonina Guarrella at guarrella@ica.coop.

Please note that the procedure for visa requests will start after the conference secretariat receives your payment only. 

10. Accommodation

The conference registration gives you access to the event (see point 1) and does not include your hotel accommodation & costs. There are two official conference hotels, The “Maritim Pine Beach Resort” and the “Papillon Ayscha Resort”. To book a room click on the following link “Conference selected hotels”

Please note that should you select to stay in an alternative hotel than one of the conference selected hotels, you will be charged, at the entrance of the conference premises, an additional daily entrance fee of 45 euros per day. This daily entrance fee is charged by the hotel and is not under the control of the Alliance. It is intended to cover those food and service items that are available to all individuals on-site and which is included in the hotel’s normal daily charge for individuals staying at the hotel.

11. Transportation

The conference registration gives you access to the event (see point 1) and does not include your travel arrangements and costs (air, sea or land transportation). If you need to book a transfer from the airport to the one of the official conference Hotels, please click on the following link: “Airport Transfer”

Please, also ensure that you are travelling with valid passports, travel documents and visas.

12. Insurance

The event organisers cannot accept liability for loss of, or damage to, property belonging to congress participants during the event. Furthermore, the organizers and the Alliance are not responsible for any individual, medical, travel or personal insurance. Delegates are encouraged to check with their travel agency, what their travel insurance policies include and cover.

13. Cancellation of the Event

The organizers are not responsible for the cancellation of the conference due to force majeure (natural disaster, acts of war, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes, etc...).
